Do You Build Up Tolerance to Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN)?

I get this question a lot and it kind of varies. I have some people who love to do drug holidays, and they really feel like if they take three days off and then they resume, they have a better experience.

Also, I have some people who take it every single day and they know if they don't take it they do just fine. This is kind of where I say I see both sides.

So, no it doesn't build up, LDN has a half-life of four to six hours. I do see patients take drug holidays and still get good benefits.  I always have people say I forgot my LDN on my vacation and then they come back and they start taking it again and all of a sudden they're like oh my gosh I feel so much better again and so then they like to take a drug holiday.

We've seen a lot of interesting things happen with LDN, especially like we were talking with cycling it or taking a drug holiday. I have seen that and I have seen benefits in certain patients.
