Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) is a drug that helps regulate a dysfunctional immune system in autoimmune diseases such as Cancers, HIV/Aids, Fibromyalgia, MS, Crohn’s etc. LDN is non toxic and can be prescribed “off label” on the NHS.
We strive to make LDN a first line treatment available for all on the NHS.

Welcome to the LDN Research Trust

Low-dose Naltrexone (LDN) has been used in the treatment of autoimmune diseases in the USA since 1985 with few initial side effects.

Should you or someone you know suffer from any of the autoimmune diseases listed in our fact sheets, LDN could possibly work to either halt the progression, help with symptom relief or both.

LDN is a cheap drug which can be prescribed on the NHS if the prescribing doctor thinks it's of benefit, however many people have to obtain a private prescription and pay themselves.

Naltrexone in its full strength is used in drug addiction and only found harmful in doses of 300 mg a day. LDN is only 3 mg – 4.5 mg.
